Thank you to everyone who came to the 2007 St. George's Fayre. The weather, as in 2006, was absolutely beautiful and people were queuing to come in. The performances were terrific all round and the volunteer helpers who spent hours setting up and breaking down deserve at least three massive cheers.

We managed to raise a great total of £627.11. £188.13 was donated to St Mary's Church Parish Council by way of a fee for premises, leaving £439.98 towards the Eastbourne Lammas Festival. Thank you very much indeed.

The R.N.L.I.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution is very important to Eastbourne, with volunteer lifeboatmen and women saving many lives throughout the year.

Once more, the Eastbourne Lammas Festival is pleased to announce that we were able to raise over £300 for the R.N.L.I. at the 2007 festival. To date we have raised over £4300. Many thanks to the generosity of all who so kindly put their hands in their pockets and made a donation.
