One of the highlights of the Eastbourne Lammas Festival is its parade along Eastbourne Seafront on the saturday. On 30th July 2011 the parade will set off from the Pier at around 12:00 midday arriving on the Western Lawns at approximately 12.30

Everyone joins in - the dancers; drummers; musicians; Eastbourne Giants, as well as members of the public wearing costume or flowered-circlets, or just plain old jeans and Lammas T-shirts.

Why not join in?

Dust out your old fancy-dress costumes, or make something from scratch, wear flowers in your hair, or crowns, tiaras, feathers - whatever. Paint your faces and strap on your fairy wings.

The parade raises plenty of money for the RNLI and we encourage people to give generously. So far we have raised over £5000 - thank you SO much!
